About

Annual Reviews was founded in 1932 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the most comprehensive scientific review literature to its readers. Annual Reviews journals operate as a high quality filter, prioritizing and synthesizing the primary research literature in 46 different disciplines for the Biomedical, Life, Physical, and Social Sciences, including Economics. All topics for review are selected by an editorial committee comprised of the most distinguished scholars of the discipline. Annual Reviews articles are written by invited scholars to help researchers and students navigate the vast amount of primary research literature that is available to them. As a result, each article is its own search engine, providing a gateway to the most significant literature within a topic.
